Buffalo Interns can help with research, writing, planning, phone work, and computer work. This will free up supervisor time for higher-level responsibilities. The college students are emerging professionals, eager to learn and excited to fulfill real workplace roles.

The Internship Clearinghouse Coordinator will support you and your intern
The Internship Clearinghouse Coordinator can help you develop appropriate experimental learning opportunities , write job descriptions, post your internships, and facilitate the interview process. Throughout the internship, support will be provided to supervisors and students as requested.

This project allows local employers and institutions of higher education to work together to help stem the brain drain from this region. The Buffalo Interns project seeks to connect students to Internship opportunities in the area in the hopes that students will seek to stay in WNY when they graduate.

- Are you able to provide a quality paid internship opportunity to a college student?
If your answer is YES to these questions, you are eligible!

- Contact information and location information for internship site, including supervisor contact information if available
- For program participation at least minimum wage is required. Western New York interns, on average, earn between $10 and $12 an hour, depending on the industry.
